You may have noticed in your My Products Module that some products have red lettering and you are unable to add them to a purchase order. If an item has read lettering than that means when you were starting your Cobalt Connect sign up process, some information got put down incorrectly along the way. It is nothing to worry about, it’s a problem that happens quite often, but just like every other feature of Cobalt Connect, it is an easy fix. You can enter the Product Error Module by clicking onto the red-lettered product or the wrench icon in the navigation bar.
Once you are in the Module you just have to follow the steps to make the corrections. If you clicked into the Product Errors Module by clicking the red-lettered product then that will be the one you will be correcting. If you just click the wrench then the system will have you be fixing the products at random.
The item in the Product Name section is the one you will be trying to match the details to. Start by searching the brand name in the Brand section. From there move over across the list and select the distributor you want to buy from, its category type, size, and the quantity/pack size if it is needed. Once all these fields are entered your possible matches for the item will appear in the Product Options section. Select the best match and then select My Products. The page will then refresh and the next Product that needs correcting will appear in the Product Name section.
What is great about this module is that it isn’t just for correcting the red-lettered products from your My Products Module. You can also make any changes to all the products you’ve added to your My Products Module. After all, the current prices in your liquor store don’t necessarily stay that price forever.
If you want to make any edits to your product information scroll down to the bottom of the Product Error page. Here you will see three tabs; All Products, Fixed Products, and Error Products. The All Product section is where all your products with no issues are listed. In this tab, you will be able to make any changes to the items listed. To alter anything just select the gear icon. This will open up all the fields listed so you can make any changes to any information you like. Then once you are done select the save button and all the changes will up applied immediately.
The Fixed Product tab you will see a tab of all the recent items you have fixed. This section is great for quick fixes just in case you made an error while fixing your error. Then in the Error Products tab, you will see a list of all the items that still need fixing in your My Products Module. All these sections have search bars so you can find any particular products you are looking for.
With this module, it makes business management ten times easier since all your product information and corrections that need to be made are all in one neatly organized place.
