Discount App

The Discounts app is the easiest way to manage all the discounts available in your store. Simply create a new discount with its own unique code. Enter in the discount amount and then select the products that are eligible for that discount. You can easily make changes to existing Discounts programs after they are created. Any discounts will be automatically applied once the transaction meets the required purchase quantity and other specifications set. There is no limit to the number of discounts you can create. You will no longer have to worry if your employees are making mistakes manually entering in any discounts in the Register. After your discount is saved, the app will automatically begin applying your Discounts to your orders in the Clover Register app. It’s that simple! The app must be open in the background when using your Clover device in order for the system to run.


Even if you are just using the Liquor Store App for Discounts, you still need to sync your system in the State Minimum section of the app first. To sync your device select the refresh button in the top right corner of the state minimum app. You should select the sync button in the state minimum feature regularly to ensure that your prices are always meeting state requirements. 

The CobaltConnect Liquor Store App will never allow a product to be sold below the state minimum price. If a discount is applied to an item that could undersell a product, the discount will be kicked out and a popup notification will appear letting the registered merchant know the issues. 

After you create each discount, the refresh button in the top right corner needs to be selected. This pushes the discount to your register to set it live.
